Tanaka is Thoryl's father. He is also an acquaintance of Darudia's, Darudia being one of the people that brought Tanaka and his wife back to Athel Loren when Thoryl was almost to be born.
Description
Tanaka is a friendly, but shady character. He has a great sense for how people think and is generally a very warm being. He does however, have a dark side. Tanaka is bound to a dark spirit called Raikar. Raikar is a life-long rival of Tanaka's, and when Tanaka beat him in battle, his soul was bounded to Tanaka by dark magic. Raikar occasionally possesses Tanaka's body for his own designs, though more often than not, Tanaka is able to subdue him.
